  1. This was expected. The team isn’t playing well and no attractive football. We looked clueless and letting Viv go was massive as well.

  2. Think those who don’t even pay attention to the women’s side knew he needed to leave. Left on his own accord apparently according to Tim Stillman

  3. Finally! Great news, this clown wasted our season last year and this year. We’ve invested so much in our women’s team and he just cannot put together a decent pacey attack

  4. Thank god. We have some fucking standards here; we are not about to let our ladies suffer another second of this bullshit.

The results have been humiliating so far and the title race is over for us basically 4 games in. He had to go

Got given a huge budget for the women’s game and hasn’t done well enough with it

With the resources Arsenal have they should be winning titles

As much as I wanted him out.

I respect that he decided to resign rather than wait for Arsenal to make the decision, even if it was coming.

Filled the squad with a lot of mid players who got very little game time. Like a teenager on early football manager games raiding their first Bosman and ending up a queue for the car park.

That was quick. He’s been shit but I’ve never understood managerial exits so early on in the season. Should’ve let him go at the end of last season if he was this close to going, now they’ve basically wasted pre-season on him. Makes binning Miedema even more unnecessary as well. Didn’t even have to be this way at all.

  9. This man failed the likes of Mana Iwabuchi and Viv Miedama and only stayed because he lucked 2 Conti Cups. Never show your face around London again.

I’ve wanted him gone the day the news came out that Miedema would be leaving the club

  11. Yeah he had to go. Honestly after that Chelsea game it felt like the end. You always can tell in the men’s game and it was similar here. Arsenal actually played decent abundance probably should have got more out of the game, but it did strike me that the vibes were not great with the players.

  12. Always thought Jonas came across really well in interviews and when he did punditry but I can’t say I’m surprised by his resignation because the women’s team have stagnated over the past couple of seasons. Gone from perennial title contenders to also-rans and sold their star player to a direct rival.

  13. When Viv left I thought that this guy better deliver. Man such a shame we decide to keep him and let Viv go.

  14. He has lost the plot. They don’t look like our girls anymore. I used to like him, I think I still do, but it’s time to go. We need someone to push us and not drag us backward.
