Whitwell: Luke Shaw + Tyrell Malacia not expected to be ready for Brentford, meaning a full-back dilemma for #MUFC with Noussair Mazraoui also out. Mason Mount could be fit though

Don’t know what they were thinking going in to the season with two left backs permanently injured, one with a ridiculous injury history and only one with a good history.

We’ll be fine, we have Sir Jonny, he can fill in all 4 positions in the backline on his own.

Every day the Fernandez decision gets worse and worse (not for him or his agent tho)

Dalot left back and Lindlof right back nothing we haven’t seen before

You can’t go into a season with 2 perma-injured LBs, and then say you’re unlucky that they’re injured.

Whatever Malacia has gone through the past 18ish months should be made into a movie.

Is amas also injured?

Where is lindelof? He played LB a couple times last season

Been like this for a year. Such bad planning

Jesus wept… the bad news just feels relentless. Shaw still being out in mid-October is baffling (but on brand). Good god we need a good slice of luck

Was gonna say that at least we don’t see dalot stinking it out at LB again but this idiot is totally gonna play a back 4 of lindelofs at rb, Evans and Maguire at CB and dalot at lb

I wonder if we can play a back 3 with Martinez Maguire and mdL and use Dalot and Antony as WBs.

Not sure who were expecting them to be back. With their lack of match fitness, neither should start if they can even play. After Christmas would be the realistic target.
On another note, can’t stand the constant shifting goalposts about their return, just state they are expected back 3 months later and be done with it tbh.

Shaw and Malacia have cost us for the entirety of last season but it doesn’t get talked about enough, one of them somehow played the Euros and now injured again
And yet when we try to get some accountability from Luke & Tyrell they are always blindly protected by many in the fanbase. Honestly it’s a fucking joke
When was the last time we started a competitive game with a left-footed LB?
Not even gonna discuss the Mount bit. Even if he’s fit vs. Brentford, it will just take a few more games for him to get injured again lmao

3 ATB with wingbacks? Antony can do a shift there.

Dalot will play more games at LB than RB this season the way things are going

Could someone tell me what those two are injured with ? Didn’t we get a new medical team this season ? How long do we have to wait for a full team ? 🙁

We had all those phases since Fergie left, we have to fix having these dilemmas for more than half a season though and while I just know people are gonna say “SHOULDN’T HAVE SOLD FERNANDEZ THEN!!!” but I’m confident that our new people in charge are 100x better at identifying and solving those issues, as they tried this summer (can’t take that away from them)

We signed Radamel Falcao when we needed a left back, let’s just stick Zirkzee there.

More excuses for EtH and his stans.

When did we not have one in recent years?!

I’m going to this game! First visit to OT.
Any tips? Which bar should I go to?
