    **From the article:**

**Manuel Ugarte impressed** for Uruguay during their goalless draw with Ecuador **before he was forced off in the 82nd minute of the match with what looked like a fitness issue.** The 23-year-old **was accompanied by a member of the medical team as he was withdrawn from the action, in the latest blow for Ten Hag.**

**Ugarte had impressed during his time on the pitch, having made four tackles, two interceptions, once clearance, and one blocked shot, all while notching an 89 percent passing accuracy.**

The £42 million summer signing from Paris Saint-Germain **is expected to fly back to Manchester on Wednesday where he will be assessed by United medical staff ahead of their weekend clash.**

Ugarte’s injury scare comes at a time when United could already be without as many as nine players for the Brentford match. Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo all withdrew from international duty, while Mason Mount has missed the last two matches. Noussair Mazraoui and Harry Maguire are both set for a few weeks on the sidelines and defensive duo Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are not match ready yet. Leny Yoro is a long-term injury concern, but could be back in action next month.

He probably needed a couple more months to learn our tactics before starting anyway

  3. This is a man that had a Pristine injury record.

Something is wrong with our training/recovery methods for sure for something like this to be happening.

A few players have complained about it I believe.

  4. Speedy recovery for Ugarte but Ten Hag wasn’t gonna play him anyway. Gonna go with another stupid selection like playing Mainoo and Eriksen in a double pivot again

  5. I don’t think people are ready for how the rest of this season is going to pan out. I seriously can see us finishing 16th

  6. Journalists really have the easiest job in the world

    Headline:

    Manchester United
    suffer(or equivalent negative word)
    fresh(signify it happened recently)
    [bad thing]
scare(or equivalently vague word not telling us anything)
    as
    [insert price tag](bigger number better)
[vaguely describe bad thing] (more vague better)
    [player name]

    $profit$

    Aye yai yai…

Every time I open this sub it’s like shake of a magic 8-ball, but all the outcomes are cursed.

    Get well soon, Manuele.

He plays every international break just to get injured for the club.

  9. Seeing how much injuries cost the club is there anyway we just say no to our players going on these inter seasons friendly and just take the fines?

Having Martinez and Ugarte playing at Midnight in South America when we’ve got a 3 o’clock kick off Saturday is great isn’t it.

He was dropped in our last two games so probably gives EtH another excuse not to play him!
