No-looks can be cool and all, but in this case his teammate had to slow down and wait for the ball allowing the defender to catch up. There’s easily 5-6 yards between him and the defender when Diaz passes but by the time the ball arrives the defender is almost alongside him. Don’t get meme wrong, the other attacker should’ve certainly done better in the situation, but a better pass from Diaz and he would’ve been in a much easier position.

I’m pretty sure at this point Diaz just does this naturally when he’s trying to off balance put power into a pass
