      Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool legend as he settled for playing on a sh1t team his whole career. As if he doesn't regret that now. Was also scared off moving by scouse thugs

      Owen, Torres, McManaman and Sterling all left the club in the wrong way. If you're upfront about it, the fans will understand but if you scheme, then your legacy is tarnished.

      I don’t know if this is still the case, but a few years ago I read that Trent is the only member of his youth team, that is currently a professional footballer. There is no loyalty in football.

      Though I can understand any resentment towards the international team (which I think is overplayed), Trent picking an individual achievement over a World Cup is silly. Ask Mac Allister if he’d give back Argentina's World Cup and his winner's medal for a Ballon D'or and see what he says 😂

      I love the line. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want loyalty or to hate on players that are not loyal. Liverpool have him his chance and are competitive. If they can offer competitive wages. I don’t think it’s wrong to be annoyed. Trent could become a hero at Liverpool. At Madrid he would be another in the crowd. He won’t win a Ballon d’Or with a team that’s got Mbappe and Vini in it. Do people think he will go or not?

      Honestly, the most frustrating thing if Trent moves on is that we won't get a dime for him. It does look likely that he moves on. It's a 2 horse league and he'll inevitably win more trophies there. But honestly, if there's enough creativity in the midfield and attack, you don't need a Trent. Sometimes people don't understand you can't have 5 Messis in a team and expect them to all produce prime Messi numbers
