  1. This is exactly what will keep happening to them untill their get players that want to play for the club as long their keep going like this Ipswich Crystal Palace and Wolves have a good chance if surviving the premier league

  2. It's the worst Man Utd squad I've seen in living memory. Nobody could make this squad better. Nobody. The club is rotten to the core with wrong people, bang average players and a culture of coasting on history.

  3. I was never a fan of ten Hag and I never thought he was the right choice in the first place, but it’s still regrettable it came down to this. He was given a lot of money and a LOT of time, and the results were not there. Plus his continued statements that they were on the “right track” was blind to the obvious. A new manager can and should do better with this set of players, but I don’t see anything to suggest top 4 is realistic. Get them on page 1 of the table, and we’ll see.

  4. As a united fan, the obvious choice is Southgate. He get all our players bending the knee and singing our national anthem. What our fanbase need to realise is that it isn’t all about winning trophies or football matches. Some issues are more important than that

  5. Saw some comments about squad he inherited etc, and how not enough of his signings are playing in the 11. The West Ham game 7 starters who he signed were on the pitch, Onana, de Ligt, Martinez, Mazraoui, Eriksen (free), Casemiro, Hojlund (With Rashford, Bruno, and Garnacho also in the 11) That 11 should be able to perform against another side who are struggling.

With Ugarte, Zirkee, and Bayindir on the bench, but he's also signed Antony, Mason Mount, Yoro, Malacia. Surely when also Bruno (supposed to be one of the teams best players) also in the starting line up, and they are all on the pitch they should be able to execute his plans to an average level. Some of the performances have been terrible

  6. Why do people associated with United think they have a God given right to be in the running for leagues and cups every year? They are 14th because that's where they deserve to be. The players are as much responsible as the manager. The club is full of Prima Donna's who care only about money. Sir Alex had a squad of players who wanted to win for the badge, the history of the club and for him. He accepted nothing less and it paid dividends. The managers who came after him have not had that ruthless streak and players just don't have the respect he demanded. There is not one player in the current squad that would have been tolerated in the Fergie era. United would be better off promoting local lads from the Academy who understand what it means to pull on that red shirt. City have a manager in the style of Sir Alex and look at them. Yes, most of the are foreigners who don't really understand the history of the club, but they are decent players who respect the manager and give everything for him. Would they be loyal to City if Pep was gone tomorrow? Not a chance. They would be off to Real or Barca in a flash. As Roy Keane said on air yesterday "If you want loyalty, get a dog". You certainly won't get it from footballers any more. The days of the one club for life players are gone.
