    City suffered a 2-1 defeat to Brighton in the final game before the November international break.
    Erling Haaland’s opener on 23 minutes in a dominant first half ended as a consolation as efforts after the break from Joao Pedro and Matt O’Riley ensured all three points for the Seagulls who remain unbeaten at the Amex Stadium in the Premier League this season.

    The result came against the backdrop of six senior absences for the Blues through injury in Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish, John Stones and Ruben Dias plus the long-term absentees of Ballon d’Or winner Rodrigo and Oscar Bobb.

    Pep Guardiola’s Blues remain in second spot behind Liverpool in the Premier League table with Tottenham our next opponents as Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs head to the Etihad in two weeks’ time.

      As a Liverpool fan , I'm happy with the Man City defeats. But our real test is Dec 1st , if we can't do what lesser teams are doing at the moment , we won't win anything.

      Im not a betting man, but i would've put money there was no way city would lose this game 4 in a row. Good thing im not a betting man. Cuz all my friends thought the same and they all lost some money last night.

      Hope people will now knows the reason Rodri deserves that ballon Dor, people thinks that kelvin de bryne is the main man in the man city but now is glerin that without Rodri city is nothing to watch. I have always said it and i will keep saying it again and again, man city can play ball without anybody in the team but they can't play without Rodri, check their stat last season kelvin de bryne did not play most of their games and they still win the league because Rodri was there for them. With Rodri i bet you can't even knows that they are having defense crisis but see how their defense was because that guy(Rodri) means alot to them.
