  1. Wout in Green pulling Jonas in Yellow away from Pogi in White on Hautacam is THE picture that perfectly represents the best Tour in decades, and perhaps this golden generation of cycling. Absolutely iconic, where were you moment.

  2. Both guys are great for pro cycling – Jonas and Pog. It's a gonna be another great battle between them on LeTour. Whoever has the strongest and most intact team when they reach the hard mountain stages will prevail. Last year Jumbo was by far much stronger than UAE as a team. And I just hope most of the GC favorites can stay healthy and out of crash trouble.

  3. Lol Vinegaard needs Roglic to be in form. Pog is looking to destroy everyone. If Evenepoel joins the TDF, Jonas won't win. Rolling attacks would be marked by Pog and Evenepoel. Vinegaard may be strong, but he is a pure climber. He's not winning the TDF unless he finds super form or Pog is isolated again

  4. I've watched the Tour for years, but last year's was one of the best imo. What a battle! I have no idea who is going to win this year, but one thing s for sure- an awful lot can happen in 3 weeks of racing. Bring it on! 🙂

  5. 올해 포가챠가 우승하려면 산악에 들어가기 전에 충분한 시간을 벌어야 하는데, 작년처럼 무리하지만 않는다면 충분히 가능할 것.

  6. Tour de France 2022 were simply the best TdF in my memory. Had it all! And on top already made the excitement and expectations for 2023 high. Real battles ahead!
Although the closeness of the audience normally are part of the "fun at the mountain peaks" I hope they will make sure some distance are held to the riders when passing the screaming spectators. Covid are still amongst us and I would absolutely be devastated if a favourite had to exit due to lack of preventable issues.

  7. Hard to say who will win this year. The Däne is faster than ever, and Pogacar well perpared.
Most interessing would be if bouth fail.

  8. last year was amazing lets hope for some more great cycling action! thanks lanterne for all the hype, you got me going haha

  9. Not sure I'd agree with Jonas being best climber. He beat Pog twice – once because he had Rog to help deliver the one/two attacks with no UAE to help Pog cover moves so had to chase down on his own, the next was when Pog crashed and effectively gave up on the final climbing stage trying to lose Jonas and make back time. Jonas is a great climber who can largely hold Pog's wheel but every other time Pog sprints to win stage bonus points.

  10. 5:56 this shot needed to be in the Netflix doc

I think they could have talked about Pogacar more as an unbeatable force throughout the series. Painting him as someone who nobody could match. Really lean on the fact that Jonas was the underdog and that it was almost inevitable Pog will win

And if they showed this shot with the narrative that even though Jumbo are throwing everything at him, double teaming, isolating him, attacking him over and over again etc he's still not only holding on but fighting back and taking on the entire Jumbo team and not losing

This isn't even a lie and normies would absolutely eat that shit up. Because for me this shot convinced me Pog is unbeatable last year

  11. I cannot commit to watching all the stages of the race and so really look forward to your coverage. Your knowledge and expertise of the tour and the riders is second to none. I hope the tour lives up to the hype this year and can't wait to see your videos.

  12. Next time the tour organisers even think about putting in a cobbled stage they should be shown the long list of people who were taken out of contention on all the cobbled stages in the past and how long it took for them to get back on track with their careers. I guess I am still mad about Primoz being denied a chance to win a Tour last year by some stupid freak accident. This has NOTHING to do with cycling. It is only hyped up sensation. I already feel my hate/love relationship with the Tour coming back up. Let's hope this year nobody gets taken out like that.

  13. In this universe Vingegaard wins his second Tour! In my universe Primoz Roglic wins his second Tour in an epic battle with Pogacar. Don't blame a guy for dreaming!

  14. Just a friendly helpful pronunciation tip:
The "gaard" in Vingegaard is pronounced more like the English word "gore". Not exactly, but close. So Vingegaard is close to being pronounced "Vingegore".
Double-a is pronounced like the Danish letter å, and unless you're Scandinavian, there's little reason you should ever have seen that letter. It's pronounced almost like the O in "oh".
I hope it either helps or that you don't care at all 🙂

  15. I fractured my left scaphoid a few years ago (same as Pogi in LBL in April, but he also fractured his lunate bone). To me, this could be the most significant limitation of his performance. Two months is not enough recovery time for him to withstand three weeks of racing. Especially sharp attacks and out-of-the-saddle work at these elite-level wattages will take their toll (let's be honest, he didn't need that for Slovenian RR and TT Champs). I hope that's not true, though and, most importantly, he won't injure himself any further with that wrist 🙏
