My ire wasn’t going to be too targeted at the ref, but he was awful. 5 mins added for all the time wasting (some of which is self afficted) and giving two yellows early on to proceed to give nothing else except right at the end. He was clueless
However clueless doesn’t even begin to describe how we played – it was a trademark early season game, opposition scores early, and we had no idea how to break them down after.
It was just slow passing all around, all telegraphed so Millwall could just sit back and let it all happen – some players are a lot more culpable than others but no one really comes out of that game smelling of roses.
I know he won’t but Martin really has to work on a plan B, or at least try and adapt to certain teams who we know will play a certain way.

Obviously delighted with the result but it is baffling how a team can look one week like they just don’t give a shit and then then a few days later leave it all on the line like that. Bit of an indictment on the players who had obviously quit on the previous staff. Still don’t think Harris is the long-term answer but justifying the change already tbf.

Being favourites for second and 25 unbeaten to almost out of contention for autos in a week and a half is extremely Saints like.
RM is lost tactically without Flynn Downes and is in a mess trying to find an answer, for me it is Shea Charles but he doesn’t seem to trust him.
I think we will stabilise but it will probably be too late to salvage autos, I’m not sure we can afford to lose a single game more this season if we are to get back.
