IIRC McKenna and Carrick were a sort of coaching duo at Man Utd. You can see the similarity in styles, more so in Carrick first season when we were more gung-ho like Ipswich.

Mowbray technically managed us (Ipswich) as joint caretaker back in 2002, but only for a few games. Absolutely love the bloke and hope his recovery goes well
