In general, the 90s, although that might be influenced by my age. For Southampton kits in particular, I actually prefer the modern ones, the last ten years or so (with the exception of last years white kit)

The problem with modern kits is they’re too lightweight and detailing is flimsy decals that disintegrate if you look at them funny.
90s kits still had proper collars and embroidered details.
