I’m laughing because we’re already down and the game already lost, but you’d be absolutely seething if that decided a game, never mind if it decided promotion or relegation for some poor sod.
And it gets so much worse in League 1 and 2, so we’ve that to look forward to. Fml.

All the clubs have replays at their dugouts. If I’d have seen that I’d have instructed the player to pass the penalty to the keeper and not score. No need to punish the opposition for the error by the ref – it wasn’t as if it was even debatable.
