Probably, but we all have these calls go against us

Is offside, but the amount we’ve been screwed over by refs recently we have deserved this.

There is a Boro defender out of frame playing him onside. Typical anti-Leeds 🙂

Feels like these telly quizzes where it’s £2 to enter so they ask the most brain-dead question imaginable to get everyone like “oh I know that I’ll enter”

Yes, but it was a clear and obvious offside rather than a matter of millimetres, so we know it would have fallen outside the remit of VAR…

Only if it’s against Man U 😡

Yeah is offside 🤣 we’ve been shafted though in recent weeks so it’s all swings and roundabouts

It’s a very bad call. Was the assistant on the nearside? Would have had his view of Gnonto shielded by Bamford which makes this mistake slightly more forgiveable.

I’m sick of this “Anti Leeds” sentiment in this sub! Archie is clearly onside since #35’s heel is playing him on… don’t know what the fuss is about!
Edit: I’ll add the /s for those who think I’m serious. Archie is the lad heading back towards ball between the defenders.

Can you not see that Bamford is clearly playing him onside!

Nah, we’ve all seen Bamford play, he’s basically an extra defender therefore onside

Exhibit B, your honour.
I present to you a goal which, in the words of Daniel Mann commentating, may very well in fact have been “the most illegal goal ever scored”.
On the evening of 18th August 2023, at Elland Road, Yorkshire at around 8:55pm, it is alleged that West Bromwich Albion registered with a strike featuring both a handball and an offside in the buildup, with the goal being scored by a Mr. Thomas-Asante who, prior to the incident, ought to have been ejected from the field of play for two bookable offences on the day in question.
The prosecution rests.

Not really a difficult question, all English football officials should be replaced by The Clangers.

Was a meaningless match (for us) but a good one, would have been nice to stick it to Leeds but whatever, mistakes even themselves out. Just hope we can improve defensively for next season.

Nevermind, the apology letter will be in post. I’m sure that will sort things out.

I’d be mad but we’ve deserved a lot of pens in the last few games I ain’t gonna give a shit.
You live by inept champo refs and you die by them

Can’t anyone spot Ayling playing everyone onside?

Why did they edit out Luke Ayling who was playing him onside?

It wasn’t it counted no var, Leeds been on the end of some bad ones so without var it evens itself out sort of
