  1. Two massive games in the last two days have simplified things a lot. If Leeds lose to QPR, Leicester will be going up, and regardless of what happens at Loftus Road, Leicester can seal promotion with a win at Deepdale.

A Leeds slip up would see Ipswich able to join Leicester with two wins from three. However, if Leeds do win against QPR, they will be hoping for back to back Ipswich losses to seal their own promotion before the final day.

Meanwhile, Saints are out of the race save for a convoluted and miraculous series of events, as well as a 19 goal swing in their favour. In any other season I would probably just say they were out of it now, but we will see what Friday brings for them before counting them out entirely…

Ipswich are currently three games without a win so expecting three wins under pressure will be not be easy.

  3. I’m now getting to the point that I think I’d prefer Ipswich to go up automatically than have to play them in a two legged playoff.

That’s four hours of stress in my life that I really don’t need.

  4. Didn’t realize Ipswich have Hull and Cov Away. That makes it a little more interesting

I believe its in our best interest for Coventry to win tonight vs Hull. They’d be level at 66 points. Also would require Hull to win saturday to have any shot at playoffs.
