“This isn’t a goodbye, it’s a thank you” says “The Viking” as he gives back to fans in recognition of their loyal support over the years.

Let’s be honest, there’s a 99.9% chance it is goodbye, but what a gesture and what a bloke!

Awww! I don’t blame him, I’d want to get hammered if I was a Rotherham fan.

An act of class, in a sport where loyalty is so often transactional and gratitude = platitude.

    Full credit

My favourite Rotherham player ever. Hope he plays in the Premier League as 1st choice Keeper.

Top bloke, great gesture, especially considering the hell Rotherham fans have had to watch this season.

What’s prompted this gesture then out of curiosity?

Is he linked with other clubs? Seems way too good for League One, possibly even too good for the Championship, but also mad loyal by the sounds of things.

  7. Read this as Millwall fans initially, and was wondering what the logic would be…

  8. He always plays lights out against us and Begovic is out of contract. What is his contract situation?

Not linked with us nor do I think we will spend that kind of money on anyone but I’d like to see him at Hillsborough, I don’t trust Dawson and Beadle probably goes to a better team
