Well deserved, which isn’t to say that there were not other equally deserving candidates across the league. But Morsy was absolutely immense for us this year. Love the man, and he will thoroughly deserve however many PL appearances that he makes for us next year.

The only reason I’m surprised is because I really thought Szmodics would win it. That man has kept a team in the league by himself and I am not the slightest bit bitter about it

Didnât think he got that much recognition for how phenomenal he is outside of the club so itâs lovely to see him win this.
In a season where weâve had so many great players, Morsy was the best by fucking miles.

Brilliant player. The type you love on your team and would hate to play against. Sets the tone and standard for the rest of the team.
There was a game, I think against Southampton, where it was injury time and Ipswich were holding on to a lead completely out on their feet.
From a Saints Corner the ball ends up back with their goalie because Morsy went on a ridiculous one man press as he could see everyone was knackered.
He constantly raises the others around him with his commitment.
