This is one hell of a coup for Boro. Excellent holding midfielder who will fit a Carrick side perfectly.

Crew fan here..they just got a workhorse. This guy runs, and fights at 110% every match, every minute. I can’t wait to see what he does for you guys. He has our “He’s here, here’s there, he’s every fucking where” chant.

Real shame to see him leave Columbus. I think he will be a very solid midfielder in the Championship, fits the style very much.

Scouting team at boro have been on fire recently. Rav van den berg, Rogers & Lath are very good finds. They also unearthed Engel, Gilbert and a few other prospects which look like they could add something to the team.

    As a Crew fan, fuuuuuuuuuuck.

Good find for Boro, solid CDM who is prone to making 1 absolutely infuriating play per game but is great apart from that. Dude is loved by fans, probably a USMNT prospect in the next few years if he develops. Take care of him.

  6. Can’t say I know anything about him, but the little footage I have seen he looks like he plays almost exactly like how we have Howson play, so hopefully he’s the long term replacement there.

Perfect time for someone to stake a claim to replace Howson. Absolutely adore the man and he does keep improving with age, but we can’t rely on him forever

Encouraging to see some business done before the start of the season.

    Sounds like a solid move.

The type of player that you don’t notice during the game but always pops up with an 8/10. Has the odd goal in him from 25+. Long range of passing. Absolute pit bull in the middle of the park. Will exceed under Carricks guidance. Boro just found a new fan in me. Morris is already a Crew legend at 22 and I can’t wait to see him grow more.

For reference of this guys demeanor, he made his 3rd start of his career in the MLS cup final at 18 years old, bagged an assist and was arguably our second best player on the pitch to the MVP Lucas Zelarayan. He’s cold blooded.

  10. RIP Middlesbrough’s sub

    I can see it now:

New Fan here from the US… Tell me what I need to know about ‘The Borough’ 😉

Poor lads all 488 of em Won’t know what hit em

I had to use google because that thumbnail photo led me to believe Middlesbrough had bought a 7 pound mustache. Carry on.
