Going off wiki, he’s been here four seasons and he’s made 44 appearances. He made another 20 out on loan. I can say he’s a decent player and at his best wouldn’t look out of place in any Championship team. But Lowe at his best is a rarity and it’s all down to injuries.
Could be an excellent signing but it’s a big gamble.

In response to OP, Howard Wilkinson definitely moved straight from Blades to Owls, but I’m not sure if he ever played a match for the former
