Good keeper for us, but he was displaced by Wilson who went on to win Golden Glove, and was then pushed down to 3rd choice keeper by the arrival of Collins who has looked suspect for us at times.

We’ve not had an experienced keeper at the club since Lee Burge 2 years ago, feel like this is a smart move to help Patterson (who has been a relatively middle of the road Championship level keeper) take that next step in his development.
Not the most important signing but certainly should be useful to have him around. Will be nowhere near the starting spot though, it’s already been reported if Patterson leaves we’ll look to buy a new number 1.

Always think goalkeeper is the most confidence based role, they lose that then they need a move. Good luck to him
