Agree, he’s the best RB Ive seen. I feel secure every time when he comes on the field and he also has the ability to score extremely important goals.

Crazy even our fans underrate him, he won 6 ucls during which he shut down some of the best players itw, he made key plays including some really clutch/iconic assists and he even scored in a ucl final, who is better? Him not even being in the discussion is mind boggling

Cafu, Carlos Alberto, Alves, Lahm, Zanetti, Thuram all clear. Carvajal is an excellent right back and certainly one of the best, but come on.

While i dont agree with this statement, i will repeat what Iâve said here earlier about carvajal : The main reason why he is overlooked is because of the type of player he is and how he isnât flashy in the same sense as the other fullbacks people usually rate

I understand different opinions. He might not be the best in history. However he is the best in our history and that has to puts him in the top 5 of all time.
People say Dani Alves is better and he most definately is also top 5. However I believe that being a RB in that Barcelona team was much easier than being a RB in our Madrid team. Because of playing styles. Barcelona controlled the play, taking the ball away from them was incredibly hard. So Alves had to defend way less than most RBs. Whereas Madrid plays differently every match. Many times as a defensive team waiting to counter. Where Carvajal has to constantly defend against the best wingers and then explode on the attack to support the counter. I think that’s a harder task then being a RB in Pep’s Barca. Not saying Alves isn’t one of the best. Just analyzing their style of play and actually trying to argue who I think is best overall as a player.
I think he deserves a spot at top 5 with the likes of Cafu, Alves, Zanetti, Thuram. Both in titles achieved and play as a defensive and offensive right back.
Alot of you are saying Cafu is the best. Probably, but did you see him play? Or are you just saying this because everyone says so. Ive been watching football since the early 2000s. To me he is the best I’ve seen.

The greatest of all time is a stretch. But he is really one of the greatest and our best. And most of our recent UCL wins had an immense role by him even though he was underrated by all.
My concern is when he is leaving. I don’t know but there doesn’t seem to be world class young RBs like there are LBs right now. I think a plan would be to bring back Hakimi as he will enter his last year of contract next season and he likes to come back too but he ain’t as good as Carvajal defensively.

Best in real Madrid s history, without a doubt, but of all time is a bit of a stretch. You have to remember, Zanetti, Carlos Alberto and Cafu

Dani is in fact the best RB in history. His consistency is unmatched. He has won CLs in every stage of his career and he consistently made key performances in key matches throughout his career. No one else in RB position has ever been that consistent.
You could name a few best RB candidates, but they usually only have 3-5 highlighted seasons and go back being mediocre, such as Dani Alves.
