Who is this name? Do we need an established name in this position? Surely that would mean a higher wage for such person.
Also I hope that does not mean that we are trying to replicate Man City and their stadium announcer to create unnatural atmosphere

Is he saying that he’s doing next season, or is he saying that he’s done now? With him talking about Goodison’s last season, I think he’s already been let go

Not correct OP someone else will be doing next season. Don’t like the decision really but it does open up many interesting and exciting avenues – though its highly unlikely the club will do it.
Personally would like to see a different legend come back every matchday to read out the teamsheet. Your Ratcliffes, Watsons, etc. Leading up to Southall and Royle for the final games. Could be a way to bring Sharp back into the fold.
Won’t happen as he’s implying it will be one voice so probably some tosser like Bellew for da people’s club
