      Having been in several world cups and Copas and been in matches against Uruguay (the last one Brasil v Uruguay in Vegas), I can tell you first hand he is just describing themselves. That's the way Uruguayans have always been, just look at the footage of these players trying to start fights in the field

      Uruguay are coping hard. Their families were not in the stands when this happened. It is BS. There are numerous photos of Nunez with his family in the middle of the field before this fight

      Yes there should have been more security but the real disaster is the behaviour of the Colombian fans. Fucked up country full of corruption, drugs, human trafficking for prostitution, and football players who look like they’ve been shot when an opposing player makes a clean tackle.

      Como Colombiano estoy muy avergonzado con lo que paso en las tribunas pero fueron los jugadores Uruguayos que alborotaron el avispero cuando con una de sus tacticas que era provocar a los jugadores Colombianos para hacerlos expulsar. Que saca Uruguay humillando que ganaron la copa 18 veces; una cosa era la calidad de selecciones que tuvieron y una muy diferente la selecciĂłn de hoy dĂ­a.

      Conmebol definitely needs to look into the incident. All that we saw on the videos was Nuñes and Gimenez exchanging punches with Colombian fans.

      If Gimenez's allegations happen to be false, those 2 have to get banned for a while.

      USA thinks maybe football is also like their NBA and baseball, and MLS soccer games, where cue music from the organ comes up, fans clap three times in unison, chant the clubs motto and sit back. Eat popcorn and soda. Repeat.
