Half of them probably just rival fans trolling though, like anybody can pick a chelsea flair, it means little

Tbh banter / self deprecating humor is tolerable but the ones that slander their own club on r/soccer are unbearable
Like you fail to realize that rival fans are a horrible side to discuss our club’s shortcomings right? They WANT us to fail. They won’t give anything the club does the benefit of the doubt. They won’t give credit where/once it’s due. They won’t give their nuanced opinions, because they’re rivals
Arsenal fans have spent nearly 100m on keepers in the past 4 years yet you’re gonna agree with them when they say “chelsea are some idiots with their keepers”??

Tbh, they’re obviously much worse on r/soccer but I don’t get the hate here either. We’ve signed 2 unnecessary keepers, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga and somehow Joao Felix is the transfer that most people are upset about?

Genuinely though, what is there to be excited about except Cole Palmer. After ending the year on a positive note, we’ve addressed none of the issues with the squad, spent loads more money, and are back to square one. How can we genuinely even hope to compete for CL football? Some of the toxic positivity in here is honestly borderline gaslighting

Pls stop calling these ppl fans 😂

Honestly hate 97% of it here as well.
I get being critical of certain things but there is so much unmitigated rage without any idea of a solution or how something should’ve been handled.
Fuck boehly and all these signings etc. Then when you’re like hey, without the benefit of hindsight, what moves would you have or have not made? And half of them lie and pretend they didn’t want Enzo and mudryk. Or that they weren’t sharpening pitch forks after cucu had a slow adjustment. Or that they weren’t calling the front office a bunch of bums for paying 40m for man city run off like Cole Palmer.
Or when everyone was about to burn cobham down when Anthony Gordon was rumored. Now it’s like well maybe that would’ve been wise.
Just being mad to be mad because daddy roman isn’t here to cheat the rules to create super teams is a waste of everyone’s time. Those days are gone. They are never coming back. Stop living in the past.
