Bayern, Inter and Atlético Madrid have made contact with Adrien Rabiot, currently a free agent, at some point this summer but there was no agreement. Bayern are unlikely to be willing to pay Rabiot’s salary, estimated at €7.5m net per year.

What’s the difference between him and Goretzka? Seem like identical style, no? Am I missing something????
It makes sense to kick the tires and see what he’s asking for — he’s a capable player, and a starter for the French National Team.
Bayern probably did this inquery before the end of the Euros as a hedge in case both Goretzka and Kimmich eventually moved on. When Kimmich returned and spoke with Bayern things changed and I think Bayern lost interest for lack of room.
