Wow! Competent management that I am not used to.
I think this is a decent deal…
45%😭
Thats the good deal.
Fantastic stuff! Onto Hannibal now.
Buy-back option is interesting, I swear we never normally bother with them with most of our young players
Good luck little man! Always enjoyed watching you play.
That’s actually decent? Almost 7m. I don’t see us buying him back but if he somehow turns out amazing we’d be able to get him at his peak later on or get that 45% sell on
damn nearly £7M in total plus 45% sell on clause is decent business
A detail deal like this is impressive. You would not see that from Ed era.
Shame to see him go I think there’s a player in there but also not a bad deal for us
Woodward could never
The 45% sell on clause is mad lmao
Can anyone explain how does the buy-back option work ? Does it mean we can buy him back within three years for how much ?
What I like about this deal is it tells Facu that he could be excellent, we’re just not the ones who can get him there
Wait… Surely you mean 500k, with a 10% sell on clause, whilst we pay 70% of his wages?
Are… We competent again?
Signed for €10 million leaves for €8 million. But it’s still profit on the books right?
Wow that seems like a good fee!!!
Best wishes to Pellistri hope he shines and adds more facets to his game
prove everyone wrong and get us that 45% pellistri
That’s an excellent deal for us
Buy back and a 45% sell-on. That’s incredible.
INEOS era bidness.
I think the focus seem very clear for youth players, lower fees + massive sell ons and buy backs. It makes easier for deals to go through as the buying club are not financially stressed.
Assuming this is 45% on profit from sales rather than flat but that’s still a cracking deal overall
Any word on how much the buy back option is?
Hoping Lindelof, Eriksen, Hannibal and Sancho leave as well, and we sign Ugarte. I wouldn’t be mad if we get the McT deal through as well on our own terms. Going into the new season with 22-24 players + Wheatley, Amass, Collyer, Gore would be awesome. Lean and hungry squad.
Edit: Forgot to add Lindelof
This is actually better than almost anything I thought we would get lol
I knew buying him and Amad would pay off some how because one of them was bound to make it and the other could be sold for a decent fee
Wasted 4 years
45% damn…
Looking at the buy-back clause it looks like the football hierarchy still believe in Pellistri’s potential.
45%!
We are now negotiating and selling players like a proper football club. I feel like this is just a dream.
This is a great deal for everyone. Wonder what the but back price is.
Wow so this season marks the first since 2019 that we’ll have no Dan Jameses in the squad (Welsh, Uruguayan, or otherwise)!
Fair deal for all parties. If he works out, we take him back but if not,we get paid
