Beautiful football, more work to do of course but I’m loving Kompany football so far. Would love to see more playing time for Palhinha.

I like the improvement from last match, we need to be more fierce in the last third and abit more organised and proactive will defending, its part of the aggressive football and part of who bayern is, but I like the match performance overall and giving gametime to youngsters is the right play imo.

Special day for Muller. Breaking the record for apps and scoring a great goal. That dude is Bayern and it’s gonna be heartbreaking when he finally hangs it up…his passion, personality and mind for the game are all fantastic
Bayern as a team didn’t look amazing but pretty solid. Kinda liking Kompany’s tactics and lineups so far. Really have a pretty dynamic and versatile team. Defense looked decent enough today too

Besides Müller’s goal, for me the best news was to see Bayern averaging 10s to recover the ball, mostly on Freiburg’s half. Since Bayern is not a defensive team, recovering the ball so quickly and high up the pitch means we’ll see some goals come from counter-pressing, but also that our forwards won’t have to track back as much, and the defensive unit won’t be forced to run as much or be left in 1v1s as often as last season.

Nothing flashy, a solid performance.
It feels, like Bayern slowly loses more and more of individual class each season. There are less world class players as in the golden Bayern era 2012-2020.

Not really great but it’s the start so no worries.
I notice only that Tel isn’t great when he is starting, perhaps a good substitute.
I don’t know yet for palinha as he isn’t getting much play time.
And of course I would rather have muller starting than Tel. He is having a wonderful start of the season

Defensive wise, still VK needs to cook up something better. Guerreiro at LB is not convincing at all. Upamecano did better with Ligt, he’s the type to work well with other greater than him. Tel as a CAM is not convincing at all as well. Gnabry/Mueller connection saved the game. Phonzy, should never ride bench this early in the season and Dier i guess is not VK 1st option. Well 2 games in, Bayern can do a lot better for the status they are known for.

The only magical moment today was Müller’s goal, and otherwise, we can be very, very happy to have kept a clean sheet. Despite the penalty against us. However, we need to apply much more pressure overall so that the opponents don’t even get a chance to find their rhythm. In the end, I would like to see more emotions from the players.

Min-jae and Upamecano long-passes are horrible also the defense is not that good. The bad defending will bite us in the future. Olise looks very promising and Gnabry hopefully will be back in his 2020 form
