  1. Yea good luck surviving in the prem even dodging you’re cheating points deduction, down you go and the EFL won’t give a fuck about an independent review, they will destroy you.

    Good luck

  2. It all seems to come down to the fact that it shouldn’t be the Premier League punishing them, it should be someone else

  3. So they either took advantage of a loophole, or they cheated, but got off on a technicality, depending on which angle you’re coming from.

Either way, not exactly covering themselves in glory.

Don’t really give you much hope of staying up anyway and I’m sure we will enjoy our season much more than you will this season. The reality is being in the prem with a squad/ manager of your calibre isn’t much fun.

So basically if you cheat the rules while in the Championship but get promoted you’re insulated from any repercussions as only the EFL have jurisdiction to apply sporting sanctions? Which they can’t do to a Premier League?

  6. Ok-Material-9134 on

So essentially if you’ve got you accounts dated right you can’t be punished if you get relegated

  7. I completely respect us Leeds fans are unbearable but god you Leicester fans are on another level.

Actual small club mentality to be so obsessed with a championship club whilst in the premier league. I didn’t see Huddersfield or Sheffield United fans do that when they were in the Prem lol.

There’s no history or rivalry between us, it comes across as desperate and cringe. Just because you lot have no one that cares about you, that doesn’t mean you have to force something against us.

Good luck with Gollum in charge btw.

  8. Funny how your post aims just at us but most teams in championship hated that you got promoted from cheating. People call us dirty but last time I checked cheaters are the dirtiest. Can’t wait for you to get relegated

  9. Making your first thing to do upon recieving this news involve Leeds fans is very wierd. I suggest you drink it in for a bit first too.

  10. So will the EFL hit them if/when they get relegated? I thought the excuse as to why the EFL couldn’t do anything last season was because they were in the premier league when the breach was committed?

I actually hate Leicester more than I hate Forest at this point. How do they keep on escaping punishment after punishment?

No doubt the laws will change after this and everyone else thereafter will see punishment like when they went into administration and escaped punishment, but when Derby used a different amortisation that wasn’t against the rules at the time, they went for them and then issued the law ‘after’ the punishment had been handed out

It’s never going to work when you have two separate organisations governing leagues that allow promotion and relegation between them.

It’ll be nice when the Sky6 fuck off to their money league and the EFL can reclaim the remnants of the top flight.

  13. Everyone with a Leicester city flair is getting downvoted here but I respect you for making this post as brazenly as you did.

  14. So, what is the point of selling players due to PSR when teams like Leicester can get away with it?

I can’t believe we had to sell our most promising academy talent in over 20 years because of his bullshit of a rule.

Scrap it, at least let everyone cheat and see what the fuck happens, would be less harmful.

PSR isn’t fit for purpose. Prem utterly embarrassing itself here. Do we deserve to be punished for being irresponsible? Yes. Do we deserve to be punished because we lost too much money because we got relegated? No.

I really hate the “rent free” phrase but I truly cannot think of anything better.

Enjoy winning 5 games, we’ll wave to you on your way down!

  17. I feel like this news, ahead of Man City finally about to answer 115 charges, is a perfectly timed legal masterstroke.

    Football is bent.
