I feel like I was more optimistic than most here about his signing but even I’ve been impressed by how good he’s been. Overall opinion on him wasn’t helped by his shaky stint at LCM especially after how well Xhaka had done there the season before, but as our 9 he’s been pretty fantastic.

Looking more and more like an Özil regen with a super high work rate and great finishing output

I still have a feeling that he slows down a lot of plays that could have otherwise been played faster. For example his last shot in the video that got blocked.
There are tiny little things he could improve that will dramatically increase his rewards.
He’s work rate is insane. He’s been unlucky on a few occasions but he’d bang that most days.

Arsenal gave Havertz his mojo back after the dark years at Chelsea and now Germany is reaping the rewards.

That leverkusen kid is coming back. He’s almost got it all, just needs to keep working on final bits of shot taking and being decisive in front of goal.

Very funny when opposition fans try to banter us on Havertz when anyone with eyes can tell you he’s been when of our key, most consistent, and most productive players in 2024

If he was more clinical he would be the perfect striker. Got it all.

It’s just the shooting aspect that needs to click for him.. if he gets that right and the club and country wins some trophies, we have a potential ballon d’or candidate.. wishful thinking 🙂

It’s actually quite interesting how he sometimes looks a lot like Van Persie. RvP’s biggest quality was always his movement, creating so many chances for himself and teammates. Also, great ball control, similar physique. Hopefully he can grow into the kind of finisher RvP was or at least come a little bit closer to him, then he will be one of the best strikers in the world.

Confidence is such a huge thing in football.
You could see that at one point he’d just lost belief in himself.
He wouldn’t take anyone on. He would just swing his foot at the ball aimlessly like he knew he probably wasn’t going to score if he even tried to shoot at all.
The scary thing is, there is more to come. I think he has the ability to go up another level.
