  1. He’s still great at breaking lanes with his passes, but he’s developped the bozo gene and has been getting saved by Gabriel & Saliba in all of those games

  2. We’re definitely a bit more exposed with him at 6 and there’s definitely many reasons why I can’t wait to move on from him, but he remains our best progressive line breaking passer. Nobody sprays the ball out to Saka quite like him.

  3. I really like him and when he has his day he cleans up our midfield and also fits so well in our style of play. But he hasn’t been at his best so far even though those stats are pretty nice to see, but those are more I think a team factor than Partey being the main reason. Hope he finds his form once again.

Stop posting shit like this. EVERY TIME that we start to notice him playing well… he gets injured

Good thing I can watch football with my eyes. Get that guy out of my club. Merino can’t heal fast enough

  6. He’s running on fumes and making the odd mistake here and there but he’s still got the quality. We miss Odegaard, Merino and Rice but can still play Havertz, Jorginho and Partey.

Imagine saying that years back. Our recruitment has been amazing.

  7. If you have eyes you can see he’s the weak link every game, rice and Jorginho need to start against city

  8. I can’t wait until he fucks off to Saudi or something, it’s embarrassing he’s still at the club

  9. That’s quite an impressive record. For those who think his performances against top teams have been bad (and there are many such strong opinions below), why do you think Arteta has started him the last 9 (!) in a row? Clearly you are seeing something that Arteta is missing.

That’s cool, but no matter how well he plays we can’t call ourselves classy and keep him around

We’ve just been great in 2024 regardless, he’ll also be back on the bench once merino rice and ode are available

  12. I’d have Rice play closer to him like he does with Jorginho to cover for him. As an added bonus, we push Timber, Zinchinko or Calafiori high where they can do damage in the attacking third.

He may have lost a step but people are pretty dramatic about it. He is still the best player for that position until we can actually work on Rice + Merino + Odegaard and possibly crown a new best midfield.

He will start til he can’t. Then when he’s fit again, he’ll start again

  14. He’s been sloppy with some of his passing but people suggesting that he has somehow lost all his pace haven’t got a clue.

He was tracking back at full tilt during the NLD and it was evident that he’s still got decent pace.

  15. His decline is quite obvious. Anyone who watched the matches will know. I’d like to see his tackling stats this season. His ball progression was his best attribute coupled with his ability to create space for himself. He doesn’t do that quite regularly.
