Big fan of Schuey! Thought he was doing a good job and I believed in him. He deserved better. Sad that our club is run by dipshits with no patience or vision, but I guess I’m grateful that we didn’t hire Charlie Adam as a replacement.

  2. I hope Stoke get relegated. I have nothing against them, owners need to realise they are stupid if they expect a team to turn from relegation fighters to prime Barcelona within a year, or for this case 5 games.

It’s insane how owners think a massive impact can be instantaneous, but be sustainable. He has had a transfer window and only 5 games played. In those 5 league games, they beat Coventry. Lost to Watford and West Brom, who are 1st and 5th respectively. He has Stoke 13th right now, which is very good when you look at who they’ve played, and that they were in a relegation fight last season.

Birmingham was 6th under Eustace, then their owners sacked him and brought in Rooney, Birmingham got relegated. Eustace went to Blackburn and was pretty much the reason they survived, now they are 3rd in the Championship undefeated. Now Stoke are left with a coach who is at Norwich, the side who is most likely going to finish mid-table, with a squad that he wasn’t able to buy or sell as he wished.

Absolute disaster from behind the scenes, Schumacher would have got them mid-table, or even top 12 because he knew the players and was allowed to get his own.

“Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.”

  3. I guess “ruthlessly sacked ex-manager shows grace and thanks former employers” wasn’t as good of a headline
