  1. Let’s hope Osula gets up to speed quickly eh?

Also, why does our curse extend for a second season?!

  2. I actually don’t understand the striker situation at all. It was clear we needed a third choice striker who could actually fill in for Isak instead of a project who we’re too scared to even give a minute to. Why is Osula even here?

Not to mention Gordon has never played well for us as a striker. People think he can play up front because he did it for a few games playing against Lithuania under 21s or something. It’s such a departure from Isak and takes our best performer last season away from his best role. If we’re gonna play someone out of position up front, I don’t know why it isn’t Barnes, who has played up front before and is a better finisher than Gordon. And then it allows Gordon to play LW too.

We should never be relying on playing Gordon as a striker. We should never be relying on Wilson’s fitness. And we clearly can’t rely on the striker we signed in the summer. Bizarre situation all around.

  3. Having only 2 first team strikers really working out for us, huh?

Taking bets – will Osula play any part of the next game?

  4. Minor injury to be assessed before the weekend?

Odds on for him to be out for 2 months, then suffer a setback and require surgery for a further 2 months recovery.

  5. Why are people so worked up about Osula? It took the likes of Gordon and Hall 6 months+ to get up to speed with Howe’s training and tactics, obviously Gordon is the better centre forward option at the moment in this circumstance

  6. Maybe we needed a backup striker that ain’t made of glass. Said before and got downvoted for it but Isak’s injury record isn’t exactly great either. Having two strikers that can’t stay fit is not great.
