I miss you all the time, boss
Glad to see him healthy!
It still feels weird without him as manager, he was in charge of United since before I was born and the dugout doesn’t feel the same without his gum chewing and watch tapping.
Such a shame that he had to endure the “no value in the market” years following the Glazer takeover. I sometimes wonder how things might’ve been had the club spent like it does now and we’d seen players like Hazard and Benzema playing under Fergie.
It’s been 11 years?!
I’m glad he got out in time and got to spend time with his wife.
I legit teared up watching him give his farewell speech at OT. I think I’d bawl my eyes out if that happened now

Sir Alex Ferguson: “**Yes, I miss it [being a manager] sometimes. The first year after I retired I went to the European finals and I said to Cathy, ‘this is what I miss’, the big games, the European games. So I’ve been to most of the European finals because I can relate to it…”**[](https://x.com/UtdPlug/status/1837046053922656586/photo/1)
We miss you too 🙁 ❤️
Miss you too, boss. Always a pleasure to see him sitting in the stands
Imagine my disbelief if someone told me 11 years ago that Utd wouldn’t win the premier league again in the next decade.
I mean since INEOS are hiring new backroom staff maybe……
Gang, how do we think Sir Alex would be doing if he was our current manager – considering how much football has changed in the past decade?

I posted this exact article two hours earlier ! How come it got no traction ?
