We’ve played Man City and Villa, two champions league sides, at home, and Fulham and Palace which are both tricky away games. It’s far too early to read anything in to stats like these.

Seems that so far we’re 2nd worst in the league on 4 of the 8 stats considered here by FPL Updates & Tips:
– xG Conceded
– as bad as Southampton and Brentford
– only Everton and Ipswich are worse than us
– Big Chances Conceded
– as bad as Bournemouth
– only Everton, Ipswich, and Southampton are worse
– Shots On Target
– as bad as Everton and Southampton
– only Ipswich are worse
– Big Chances
– as bad as Everton, Leicester and Palace
– only Ipswich are worse
I knew we weren’t looking good, but this is pretty damning actual numbers.

The sky isn’t falling give it time to settle in. They are making great progress and will will be fine.

Absolutely hate the XG statistic, and feel it should be consigned to the bin, as isn’t really that accurate.
Big chance conceded….what defines a big chance?
The important statistics to view are shots on target, goals scored, goals conceded, and shots against.
We are on 4 points after 4 games and a -1 goal difference. Having played Villa, Man City, Palace, and Fulham. It is still early in the season and the squad has got to get Lopetegui’s system and philosophy.

If we’re relegation after 10+ games there is concern. But I think any supporter is expecting mid table rebuild
