This is what should have been done… This is the play that Ter Stegen and any DM (other than Eric Garcia) plays together since 2014… But Eric shit himself after he saw that the opponent is behind him and expected Ter Stegen to kick out the ball like in some 2nd division team…

Oe maybe… just maybe… he should’ve passed to Pau or Iñigo rather than pass it to Eric were he is heavily marked.
True Barca always tries to play out of the back and Ter Stagen is known for his passes in his own half.

Everybody’s like “he had better options” when the same play has been done forever. It was a just timing bad luck. For a split second Eric turned the other way when T.S. passed, as you can see in the pic.
