  1. Think we should of kept Gakpo in for the game think him and Nunez always works better as a pair than Diaz

  2. wish gakpo got a start after tuesday but diaz has been great this season besides forest so i get it.

time for nunez to prove some people wrong. i know he’s scoring today

  3. No complaints, Jota needs some rest, and i expect an early sub for Szobo in the second half too because man has been pressing and running like a beast for the last couple of games. Come on Darwin lad proves your worth

Come on Darwin make us proud. And hopefully Chiesa in 65ish minute for Salah to give Salah rest and see what Chiesa is about

  5. Hyped for a Nunez start. No matter someone’s thoughts on him we need him to start clicking because Jota just cannot stay fit for a a whole season. Hopefully it’s a comfortable enough game where Chiesa can come in for Salah around the 60th minute as well

Big one for Darwin. Also man, I really hope the game is fully under control on the hour so we can rest some of the midfield.

  7. Prayer circle for Szobo’s hamstrings. Nunez starts , hope he shows us something. Endo couldn’t make the bench with Jones being the only midfielder .

    Should be an interesting game

  8. Well you guys wanted Nunez to start so there you go, can already see all the hate that will be thrown his way in the match thread. Hopefully he takes his chance.

Not gonna go as far as to say Jota deserved to be dropped, but rather Nunez deserves an opportunity to show what he can do

Hoped Quansah starts in midweek, Ibou doesn’t have the best fitness record

  10. Nunez masterclass incoming.. what exactly that means I have no idea, but it’s bound to be entertainment

  11. Am I the only one starting to get concerned about rotation? I don’t ever remember seeing Ibou play this many games in a row, Macca had the kncoks while away for Argentina, Szobo got ran into the ground last season and picked up injuries and form suffered and this is likely the most (or close to it) Grav has played in a row since his Ajax days.

I know league cup is this upcoming week so we’ll likely see a big rotated team then

There’s 2 possibilities for Endo not being on the bench and both are worrying in different ways:

    1) He’s injured, which is obviously bad especially since Harvey is out too.

    2) Slot rates him so low that he’s okay with leaving out the only specialist CDM out of the entire squad, with only one other midfielder on the bench. We already have Tsimi as backup LB, Conor as backup RB, and Jarell as backup CB. Why the need for Joey on the bench when all of our 3 starting midfielders are playing a lot of minutes?

This is preety concerning since imo he was one of the top5 players in the squad in terms of performances last season.

  13. When the ever starting midfield trio probably need some rest if possible, Slot just excluded Endo in the squad! This is not a fair treatment to him who performed so well last season in helping us to get a CL spot!

I expected Jones to start and Endo to take part later in the game. The number of minutes Graven – Macca – Szobo play is crazy.
