Tbh I still have some hopes in nico. If I remember correctly, he is now more or less a starter for porto. Wouldn’t surprise me if he breaks through to the world class level in the next 2 years.

What happened with de la Fuentes is something I still can’t wrap my head around, comes on as a sub in pre season among many players who played, but koeman singles him out in post match presser saying he specifically was impressed by Conrad, then ignored him for the entire season, didn’t even call him up for the main team squads even when there was injuries, I don’t know maybe he was not good enough for Barca, but it was incredibly wierd what koeman did, should have given him a few minutes of first team action after praising him like that. I expected a lot from Conrad, he was fast and physical, thought he could become our traore with end product

His decision making seems to be slowly becoming better too.
With consistency and his ability to pull rabbits out of his hat he could become very special.
