I NEED him to come back here as a defensive coach. Fofana Colwill CB pairing coached by one of the best to do it would be amazing.

I hope he manages our club one day.

I do wonder how big he would have been with Terry or Cahill in the back line.
Had we gotten 5 plus years more, he would be an absolute legend.

Absolute legend of the game. I couldn’t find how many times he wore the captain’s armband, anyone know?
Google is tainted by the keywords with the media bullshit when he wasn’t officially made captain last season 🙄

Seeing him win the champions league still gives me chills. What a player and what a story.

Need him back as a coach when he finally hangs up his boots just having him around the squad would be great

One of my favourite ever Chelsea players. Won our Player of the Year award in 22/23 due to being only one of very few who kept giving 100% until the very end, and in my opinion should probably have won it in 21/22 as well. Was always available in injury hit teams despite being the oldest player in the squad, a fantastic professional, leader, character and player.
