I mean, if we are going simply with the argument in the title then Fran should also be in the top 30. (I know that isn’t the point, just pointing it out).
But Rodrygo not being in the top 30 isn’t weird. Neither would it be that weird if he was in the top 30. Outside the top 10 maybe 15 players there are a huge chunk that arguably could make up the last 15-20 places. Rodrygo is part of that larger group. Nothing more, nothing less.
