    That’s a really tough blow for him. Shame. It is definitely a little bit of a freak injury, but I don’t think you can ignore how much the schedule congestion affects players bodies.

  2. Well this is Arsenal’s year to go out and get over the hill then.

    Rodri is a 1 of 1 level player and has been for a few years now, a huge loss for City in a position where they’re not exactly overflowing with depth.

    This is probably the best chance Arsenal will get.

    Horrible for him though, don’t wish that on anyone.

  3. Hate to see that happen to anyone. Ironic after he faked an injury within the first minute. “Stay humble.”

  4. Now I’m wondering, and there is probably somebody here who can confirm this: IIRC an ACL injury is a bit of a freak injury where the congested schedule doesn’t play much of a part in it. Or am I wrong in that?
