That’s a really tough blow for him. Shame. It is definitely a little bit of a freak injury, but I don’t think you can ignore how much the schedule congestion affects players bodies.

Well this is Arsenal’s year to go out and get over the hill then.
Rodri is a 1 of 1 level player and has been for a few years now, a huge loss for City in a position where they’re not exactly overflowing with depth.
This is probably the best chance Arsenal will get.

Now I’m wondering, and there is probably somebody here who can confirm this: IIRC an ACL injury is a bit of a freak injury where the congested schedule doesn’t play much of a part in it. Or am I wrong in that?
