Muller won the votes back to back, he was voted as the best academy graduate of all time for Bayern, onto the most wasted potential, A player that had everything but failed due to one reason or another.

Götze – when he arrived here he was hailed as a generational talent (quite warranted at that time) but never was really able to show his full potential, mostly due to his illness.

How the hell did Breckenbauer not win best academy product?!

Nagelsmann.
He was fired too early when the team had potential. We got 1 1/2 years of tuchel for that and JN was meanwhile owning it at DFB

Most wasted by what?
The player himself?
The coach?
The system?
The club?

Breno. Looked promising until first he sustained a cruciate ligament injury, which ruined his knee, and then he did the probably most stupid thing I’ve ever seen one of our players doing.

Renato Sanchez, he was fantastic in the euros and for that first season with Bayern, then he just kind of disappeared

Cuisance. Gladbach’s player of the year. Joined Bayern with high hopes, did a few stepovers, but he was very undisciplined and shipped out to Italy. Now plays in 2. Bundesliga. Waste of talent.

Sebastian Deisler, if we’re taking physical and mental injuries into account.
Otherwise, taking out all of the injury issues: Roque Santa Cruz. All of the physical tools at his disposal. He just could never manage to use all of them well at Bayern.

Sebastian Deißler or Holger Badstuber.
Both were on a trajectory to becoming the best player in each position.
