People think he is haaland, he is not as good as him, but he is good enough forward and has to be trusted and treated nicely so with our support he finds his form back. Be patient and give him love.

He is not shit, but he is not worth the salary he is getting atm. That is all there is to it.
At most, he is worth half of the current salary.
Just check what happened with Rabiot… he was severely overpaid and he had audacity to ask for more. What he is currently earning is just about right.

I think playing alone upfront at the center hinders him. Imo he would much benefit playing alongside another striker, but I know that Motta’s game plan, or most modern game plans, doesn’t incorporate 2 at the front.
I do believe that he will be much better should he regain his confidence, though. Soon, hopefully.

Well I sincerely hope so, but it’s undeniable that he has trouble with first touches. He’s a great striker no doubts but even the greatest have weaknesses

40 goals in 32 months. Wow. Legendary

Sometimes I think it’s an actually technical issue as opposed to mental but I see moments and goals like this and it absolutely has to be mental. He has it in him, he just needs confidence and less frustration. We’ve seen the goals flow before. The people suggesting we sell him asap are ridiculous and it should only be if he’s unwilling to reduce his wages eventually and he doesn’t turn it around. He can be our 9 and I believe he has it in him. Patience and time people! Same for Motta’s tactics. It’s a project after all. Forza Dusan.
