This means they could feature in our game vs Fulham only 3 weeks from now!

From todays press conference:

Centre-back Mings and midfielder Kamara have both returned to training with their team-mates having recovered from long-term knee injuries.

And manager Emery has revealed they are set to feature for Villa’s Under-21s next week, before hopefully being available for first-team selection following the October international period.

“They are training very well,” Emery told Friday’s pre-match media conference.

“They started to be with us 100% completely during training sessions last week.

“And the plan with them is to try and start playing with our Under-21s next week, 45 minutes.

“And, more or less, after the break they will be available, should everything go well, to be with us.”

Be like two new signings, especially Mings (If he’s the same) we really need some assured heads in defence as for me still a weak point at times

  2. If they can get involved in the Bolton FA Trophy game then that’s fantastic news. If they’re back in the first team next month then that’s incredible too. Especially on the Kamara front now that McGinn’s gonna need time out. Extremely happy with this.
