Haven’t thought about it until now, so I don’t give a flying fuck considering we just won the champions league.

Corinthians were the best team in the world. I don’t think anyone expected us to win that.

Don’t care, especially since we’ve added it to the trophy cabinet since then anyways

Depends on the fan. I think at the time it didn’t feel as big since it’s not a very highly regarded competition in Europe, particularly in England. I’m half Brazilian so I have a bit more understanding of its important from the outside so it hurt a bit more for me at the time- I was also a teenager then so I was about more impressionable. Flew out to Abu Dhabi to watch us win it in 2021 with a small cohort of Chelsea fans outnumbered by Palmeiras fans and I think that one felt a bit more important and satisfying. I think being able to say we’ve won it all was quite nice and it felt like the crowning achievement of Romans time at the club. That was also that the last real feel good time for Chelsea before the ownership change and what followed.

David Luiz had a truly terrible game. Like one of the worst I’ve seen in a Chelsea shirt.

I can’t say I lose sleep over it. Haven’t really thought about it at all since then.

I genuinely see the club world cup as an unimportant and inconvenient game that adds stress to our already busy schedule and is another irrelevant game for a player to get injured in.
Some fans will want to win it but I assume most don’t really care.

Pissed me off tbh. We were all over them that game too. Just missed chances. What can you do?

Might as well ask what’s our opinion on losing to West Brom in 2012..
