Wes over tosin is a big call but the only way you build a partnership is by letting them play together.

  2. People are questioning madueke selection. He always has an impact when that happens. Hopefully today too.

  3. What I love about this team is, if Jackson and Madueke have a bad game, I can see Maresca playing Nkunku and Neto next PL game and benching under-performers, that makes me feel infinitely more confident

  4. Gents I’m at the point, finally finally finally, to where I’m now pretty happy with most any line up we field now. Only thing I’d like with this one is Tosin over Fofana but whatever. Fofana and Colwill have formed a partnership

This is a game that calls for patience and discipline – Brighton are great on the break and have really technical players in attack. We will need to be ruthless and strict in positioning and hope they open up late in the game

  6. Would’ve liked to have seen Tosin next to Colwill because they played so well as a pair against West Ham, but no objections to Fofana either. Great to see Lavia back. Let’s get 3 points 💙💙

I think this is your strongest lineup. You can argue for Nkunku up top but Jackson is in top form. Neto on the right but I think Madueke has done enough so far this season and James of course on paper but he’s well off it in reality

  8. Madueke starts again when he has one good game this season. Hoping he’s benched soon so nkunku can play 10 or let Neto play RW
