Do we even care about this anymore?
We got solid money. Worked out well for us and we are miles past him by now. He wouldn’t get matches here either.

Isn’t Carney a Chelsea fan? It’s a shame about his injury but I’m not sure it was a good move for him anyway
So many players make this mistake; promising youngster on the verge of breaking into the first team at the club where they were part of the academy, move to a “big 6” type place for big money, end up sitting on the bench and then they’re completely forgotten.
At some point surely someone has to realise that the better thing to do for your long term career is stay somewhere youve got a decent chance of actually playing, at a crucial point for your development in your career.
When you’re the selling club it’s a tad frustrating to see another talent ruined by a wealthy club trying to hoover up promising potential.
