That’s sad to hear, I remember Fergie always meeting up for a glass of red wine with his opposite number after.
I recall ETH saying he’d rather meet for a beer with managers instead so he’s definitely a fan of the idea.
Not related to Ten Hag but fuck me City vs Liverpool was one of the dullest rivalries between title challengers I’ve ever seen. Pep and Klopp spent far too much time licking each others arses that the rivalry meant nothing compared to some of the best the Prem had to offer e.g. Mourinho vs Wenger. The talent and quality in those City/Liverpool sides deserved a heated clash off the pitch but it was so boring.
Managers when asked about that other manager that doesn’t need to be worried about.
Think EtH would be fun to have a beer with.
