[Dan Kennett] Slot’s LFC putting up some serious numbers across the 8 games so far, particularly on the defensive side. Still only conceding shots every 17 mins when the game is tied. And the value of those shots is tiny, just 0.4 XG And only 2 opta “big chances” conceded when tied.

Agreed. Can’t think of any big chances we’ve conceded so far. Forests goal was a low probability shot and wolves’ goal was a gift from Konate.

If you offered me 7 wins off 8 and these numbers before the season, I’d have definitely taken it.
Sample size is way too small and apart from Milan all we’ve played are poor teams that aren’t expected to really compete for anything major.
Also, 0.4xg are huge xg chances. That’s not a good thing… I wonder if it’s 0.04 and not 0.4.
We have played bottom side teams and lost against one. I will see how we play against Arsenal and City before getting hyped
