On this week’s episode, Mike, Dan and Craig reflect on a tame 1-1 draw against West Ham at the Gtech. Brentford become the first team in Premier League history to score in the first minute of three consecutive games, but again, fail to pick up three points. The boys talk Keane Lewis-Potter after some frustration from the fans, as well as Fabio Carvalho’s start to life at the Bees. We also talk about the injury situation at Brentford with eight first team players already out just six games into the season…

  1. How have we gone from prime Barcelona to nervous wrecks in 3 games since City? Does this really show the importance of Norgaard & Wissa, the only 2 missing from yesterday’s starting 11.

  2. I watch all your podcasts. I was in the West Stand yesterday. I think at least one of you needs to watch the Sky or BBC highlights before the Sunday am review. From the West Stand the shirt tug on Pinnock looked a nailed on pen. From the TV and VAR half way line view it did not because it didn’t look like Ethan would have got to the cross. As Lineker said pens are far harder to win in the Prem compared to Europe. Summary , it wasn’t a pen.
Also, why no comment on the other big chance we had in the game-Bryan’s free header. Yes there was a foot near his head but he could have got much better contact and 2-0 then would have changed things I think. Btw I love Bryan but it was a big chance . From the West stand it didn’t look the big chance that it was. Great podcasts guys . Just suggest you watch the game back ‘TV view’before your review shows.
