      On the upside that’s definitely another international break Chiesa will miss for Italy. It sounds like he’s close for Saturday which will mean he won’t play anyway but will then have 2 weeks training at Kirkby while the other forwards are all away with National teams

      By all accounts Jota had his foot stepped on and had a bit of pain afterwards, so I imagine he was kept out of training as more of a pre-caution than anything else.

      Chiesa one is particularly annoying as I saw this as the perfect game for him to target. But at least it’s international break coming up.

      Chiesa one is a bummer since it happened in training but I suppose not really having a preseason comes with some elevated risk as he attempts to build his fitness quickly. Hopefully it’s a small one and he is able to heal up quickly. The games are coming thick and fast now.

      Diaz and Jota can play RW alright tbf, we have a lot of attacking depth. Hopefully we’ll have Elliot soon we need him after the international break.
