Which one has been your favorite / most memorable?

Manchester United 2 – Spurs 3, 2013-14 Season

A first victory at Old Trafford in a long long time, and in a season when United won the league. The team played well on the day, with strong performances from Vertonghen, Bale, Dempsey and Defoe. Second half was a bit nervy but we held on.

Manchester United 1 – Spurs 2, 2014-15 Season

Many years before this, winning at Manchester United two seasons in a row would have been unthinkable for most Spurs fans. This was a memorable moment in an otherwise mixed season.

Manchester United 0 – Spurs 3, 2018-19 Season

A rare away win against a big six team during the Poch era. United was dangerous in the first half through Lukaku and Rashford, but in the second half Tottenham increased the intensity. Lucas Moura scored two quality goals in probably his second best performance in a Spurs shirt after Amsterdam.

Manchester United 1 – Spurs 6, 2020-21 Season

I can't be the only one who was feeling negative after the early penalty. The team responded well and looked hungry to score goals. Being up 4-1 at half time was unbelievable. The link-up play and triangulations that afternoon were fantastic.

Manchester United 0 – Spurs 3, 2024-25 Season

Likely the most one-sided of all of these victories. In the context of this season, could be a huge moment. A first win for Ange vs a big six team away, hopefully more to follow. Looking at the xG, should have been a bigger margin of victory than the 6-1 game.

I flew into Tbilisi in the fall of September 2012 because of work. I was afraid to check the score until I turned on the TV. Saw the second one go in and almost had a panic attack. Literally, sat there shaking for another 80 odd minutes. I went out after with an Australian fella staying at the same hotel as me to some hipster pub celebrating and one of the greatest nights of my life. That was the magnitude of winning that game and the spell that United had over us for about 30 years.

  2. First game listed was my first exposure to Tottenham. I (American) was out of the country for the first time in 2012 and was in Berlin. I was in a bar and a British dude was sitting next to me watching the game and we chatted for a bit. He went absolute ballistic at the lead up and aftermath of Bale’s goal and when Dempsey scored he made a point to tell me he was American (hadn’t heard of him prior since I wasn’t a big fan of the sport). He told me a bit about how the league worked (and I hate to say I remember finding it weird there were no playoffs).

I didn’t fully become a fan until after the 2014 World Cup but I always remember finding the premier league pretty cool because of that experience. And here I am.

Yeah that second half was more than just ‘a bit nervy’ back in 2013 from what I remember

  4. Moura’s brace that put the final nail in the coffin for Mourinho was a pretty sweet day, but Sunday was a little bit more gratifying if only because it paid off the promise the advanced metrics had been showing.

  5. The first two victories listed have their season dates wrong. They’re 12/13 and 13/14 respectively.

  6. Would like to see someone do this but for victories at the Etihad, wonder if you’d include the 4-3 or not
